CE Marking

CE Marking is a legal requirement for structural steelwork placed on the market within the scope of the relevant legislation and standards.

Gow’s Lybster Ltd has achieved certification by demonstrating that the control systems under which our products are manufactured meet the required standards. Our Factory Production Control systems and manufacturing processes have been independently assessed and certified by the UKAS-accredited certification body SCCS.

This certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining robust manufacturing controls, product traceability and consistent quality throughout our fabrication processes.

Welding Quality Management System

Gow’s Lybster Ltd operates a certified Welding Quality Management System in accordance with BS EN ISO 3834, the internationally recognised standard defining comprehensive quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials.

Our certification demonstrates that appropriate controls are in place throughout our welding activities, including welding procedures, welder qualifications, materials, inspection and testing, traceability, equipment and welding coordination.

The system provides assurance that our welding operations are planned, controlled and undertaken by suitably qualified and competent personnel, supporting the consistent delivery of high-quality fabricated products in accordance with applicable specifications, standards and customer requirements.
